This is Todd, just after his jaw hit the floor from seeing me in his kitchen instead of Kelly. Let us recap how this all happened. Jess, Kelly and myself all plotted and planned (and did not tell Todd, which is not lying by the way). Kelly picked Jess and I up from the Amtrak station, and thus proceeded to travel to their apartment. After waiting a long while for Todd to not only get out of his class, but also to travel home, he finally arrived and this is the aftermath of the whole ordeal. (Oh, and Jess and I became engaged while waiting for Todd)Friday, I attended a couple of seminary classes, which included a two hour Greek session. Followed by this was a scrumptious dinner with fire roasted tomato soup. We kicked off Saturday with breakfast and a trip to the St. Louis Arch. Look here it is...
A quick side note, apparently the arch's base is called the leg(s). This then raises a question; if we were to have gone to the viewing platform, would we be in the crotch?
On to the "real" part of the post. Not only did Jess and I receive as a gift a balloon that has been circulating between the four of us, but when unpacking Sunday night I found another surprise. Now this surprise was not of the same category as showing up a few hundred miles from where someone thought you would be, or even to the caliber of an engagement. No, this surprise was one of perplexity and fear. The fear arrives with a question of why would someone even have this thing? The perplexity came a little later and a picture might possibly explain this...
This is Clyde.
This is Clyde... pooping?!
Yes, it seems that I had a stowaway. However, this was not just any stowaway. This is Clyde the pooping moose, he poops jelly beans. Mmmm, sounds delicious. Obviously my jaw did not hit the floor, nor was I overwhelmingly surprised that something like this would happen after being around Todd and Kelly. Anyway, thanks for the pooping moose Todd and Kelly.

My favorite part of the weekend was definitely Clyde the pooping moose. What can possibly top that?
OH YA!! We're getting married. :-) YAY!!
Congratulations!!!!
What wonderful news to hear (read)that you two are engaged!
I'm so glad to see that my...er... pet moose has taken a trip to Wisconsin. I never took the time to name him...glad he's finally at a home that cares enough to call him Clyde. :o)
Wait, they gave me your pet moose?! Well I am glad he is among us here at CUW. Being sick right now, those two probably deserve it for sending such a nice part of their family away like that.
:o) Yes. Clyde was originally mine. He was a boobie (sp?) prize I won at Bunko a while back. Then I gave him to T. I guess T now decided to pass along the fun pet to a more healthy home! (I hope those are new jelly beans--otherwize that poo is pretty stale!)
Sidenote: Beware of stowaways! My brother has a history of stowing odd things in luggage--a particular stuffed animal "Woody" often made appearances in my bags!
Haha, yes sis, when I was hiding the princess balloon in Jess's suitcase, I thought to myself, "Gee, what's something randomn I could put in Justin's suitcase?" Well, after looking quickly in my desk, the answer was obvious!! Ha! That's so funny; I'm glad Clyde (?) has found a great home.
p.s. nope those are the same ole jelly beans! mmmmmm!
Jess thought Clyde would be a good name for such a devious looking moose who grins all the time. It is as if he knows that he is pooping out jelly beans and thinks of it as a rather funny experience.
Engaged? Hurrah!! I'll bet you'll make an even better groom than best man. And you'll get to walk down the aisle with a way hotter chick than you did and K and T's wedding!
Thanks H! I bet she won't be as goofy as the one at K & T's wedding either. Maybe she'll even walk a little slower down the aisle.
Are you implying that I walked too fast?
*Shun.*
No, I am stating that we had to work on it. It was fun, and mostly humorous.
Ok, so October was a really long time ago, which means that you should post soon before your blog goes to the blogger zone in the sky like K's did!
