Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers today;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.
Oh, give us pleasure in the orchard white,
Like nothing else by day, like ghosts by night;
And make us happy in the happy bees,
The swarm dilating round the perfect trees.
And make us happy in the darting bird
That suddenly above the bees is heard,
The meteor that thrusts in with needle bill,
And off a blossom in mid air stands still.
For this is love and nothing else is love,
To which it is reserved for God above
To sanctify to what far ends he will,
But which it only needs that we fulfill.
A Prayer In The Spring - Robert Frost

I Am Not Sure How This Happened

It is April the 13th, and although I am not superstitious, I felt like posting. If I were to be superstitious, I will cover all my bases and recap some good and bad things about this school year. I have now been back at Concordia for almost 8 full months. Over these 8 months many things have occurred and changed, and not all for the best. There have been troublesome situations which have tested my patience, and others that appalled me. The good seems to still overshadow all the "bad" and here are some good things since I have been back (in no specific order):
  1. My G.P.A. has increased
  2. I met Jess (and all the other things that accompany that)
  3. A job at Cafe Forte
  4. Friends like T-Leaf and K-Money (HA HA "K-Money" :-P )
  5. Not having to walk outside to class
A short list of the many wonderful blessing of this school year so far. There have been a few events and influences that have been less than needed. The majority of these influences may allow someone to gloat over me with much pride. However, I shall face that risk. Here is the "bad" list (even though they are not that bad)...
  1. My car died (but I have a "new" one)
  2. I live in Augsburg (yikes)
  3. A job at Cafe Forte (my co-workers lack responsibility)
  4. Friends like T-Leaf and K-Money (those kids are CRAZY)
  5. Specifically one person also known as TODD!
This might contain the most time consumed way to tell T-Leaf that his uber-organized ways have influenced even me. For you see, I am not the "organized" type. I misplace many important things, such as a recent check from work. Therefore, in pursuit of organization I have purchased a calender tool. A picture might tell the story better...

I have become organized and bought... a PLANNER?! Yes, I concede to the "organized" ways. I am in need of help and I have consulted with my friends at the Office Depot and purchased this fine tool. This is not the real issue, is it? Of course it is not the issue! The problem is that Todd has corrupted me, and with all honesty I am not happy (really it is for the best). Now it is clear that this is how I have been influenced improperly. Just so everyone knows, Socrates was put to death for corrupting the youth and I am 28 days younger than T-Leaf. If nothing else can be said than this it might just be a good post. Todd, I bought an weekly planner/organizer. *Head hung in shame*

29 days (20 school days) until graduation/end of the school year! Yeesh, this has gone by fast! Also, according to the Harry Potter countdown (on someone's blog), it is 90 days away until the new movie. The same 90 days until the wedding.

Happy Friday the 13th!

Darling, I am so proud of you for getting organized! I have to say that we should thank T-Leaf (as crazy as he is) for being a good influence on you. As he gloats over you don't forget that Kelly thinks you influenced the way T-Leaf dresses. ;-)

Yay! I'm so proud. *sniff* I'm cavorting over here in the library. Although I'm a little confused on how I made it once on your "good" list, and twice on your "bad" list. But, oooo! We should get together sometime and fill out our assignment notebooks together! I'll bring the pencils!!

Wait, does that mean I have to drink Hemlock?

Maybe if we go back to "Blu" they will have some Hemlock for you to drink. Also, you made it on the bad list twice because you missed chapel today, Monday the 16th. I knew it would happen.

First of all, count me as one LESS friend if you keep calling me K-Money...GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

Secondly, I guess you redeemed yourself after you cared enough to write our Wedding date down in INK in your planner! You get a gold star for that! Todd on the other hand should sit in the corner and think about what he has done and how some things DO NOT CHANGE and are ink-worthy events in the ol' plan book!

Thirdly, mmmm....good chicken last night!

J.Smith - I called Blu and they are fresh out of Hemlock.

K$ - I "penciled in" my planner to throw molasses on your FACE today. Lucky for you, I reconsidered and erased it.

Darling I think it's time to post again! You had time on your hands. Even though I talk to you everyday, it would still be nice to read your updated blog.
